Project Zoom Zoom is an Austin-based Chapter of Go Baby Go, dedicated to allowing disabled children to explore their worlds.

Project Zoom Zoom was established in 2018 by LASA seniors McKenna Everett and Alyssa Eckerman as a Wicked Problem Project. The two decided to create a mobile ride-on car due to their shared love of engineering and doing their part to help out in the Austin community.

This idea was inspired by the motorized cars produced by Go Baby Go, which are used in place of wheelchairs and other assistive mobility equipment unavailable to young children to give them the power to move around their environments, which has a positive impact on the development of independence, spatial awareness, and social skills.
